Vito Tisdale out for the season....

Happens at every school every spring, we are not jinxed, it is a violent physical sport & guys get hurt

Hopefully this is an early report & the severity is over estimated
Indeed. Every school, just about every year, loses key players to injury. That's why building depth is arguably more important than the quality of just the starters.

1 corner now 1 safety too. Smith can actually play either so if we could land him they may prefer him to play in Vito's spot, and continue to recruit the corner spot.
I suspect, and I hate to say it, but the loss of Vito might actually play a bigger part in his recruitment than just what the coaches were pitching.

I hate it for Vito, I can't see the op link but other sources are reporting an ACL and Meniscus, out for all of 22. This sucks all the way around.

Hate it for Vito. This season was going to be a breakout for him. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Now we MUST get a Safety and a CB. It’s going to be hard to replace his thumping mentality.

Can you believe this, a player I have been waiting for to bust loose and crack some heads, gone before his first full season playing. This is crazy, why does this happen to us every year, some things never change. Hope he comes back stronger than ever, I hate it for him.

This royally sucks....hate it for Vito and selfishly, for us as fans. He brings the lumber every play. Speedy recovery.

Love Vito, but this does not change my 9-3 season expectations

Next man up. Stoops has been here 10 seasons this season and has built up the program to where we can overcome this and have a successful season. Wish the young man a speedy recovery.

Could Trevin Wallace possibly play some nickel?

He’s another young talent that I think we need to get on the field, and we’re deep at LB. Vito’s loss could open up some more snaps for him. Trevin is athletic as heck and pretty fast.

Yes, I feel bad for Vito but on the positive outlook side, think of it a breaking a bone (Vito). In time, the bone will grow stronger (Team) and mesh into a more stable outcome. And, eventually Vito will be back stronger!

Sucks to lose a player but as someone said, next man/men up!
