Hearing that Savannah (Tenn.) Hardin County tight end/jumbo athlete LaTrell Bumphus will be unofficially visiting Kentucky on March 5 for the Cats' second junior day of the year and the basketball game against LSU.
He's a 6-foot-4, 230-pound player who has an offer from Kentucky, Louisville, Illinois, Oregon, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
When he first surfaced as a possible target Charles Reeves was already committed to Kentucky so it wasn't entirely clear what position the Cats liked him for. With Alexander Marshall picking up an offer from Alabama, not 100-percent sure where the Cats stand with him (and he still needs to visit).
Bumphus could be moving up the board on the heels of the commitment of another Tennessee player.
