I caught up with three-star Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer DT commit Kobe Smith following his team's season-opening victory on Friday. Smith is nursing an injury so his playing time was sporadic, but he did see time at defensive tackle and some time on offense in short yardage situations. Obviously Smith is a run-stuffing defensive tackle and should be a pretty good fit in the Wildcats' defensive scheme. He did however, record one sack in the game as part of his three tackle performance.
