I figured it out. I believe it was about your father-in-law falling. He wasn’t doing well. I hope that worked out for you guys.I've had issues with my heart for quite some time....AMong other issues. I probably did, or may have been about the loop recorder I had implanted. Not sure, TBH.
Appreciate the prayers. I feel 110% better, and the ablation has been an absolute game changer for me. I've went from about 100+ episodes per day, to hardly any at all; not episodes such as the one that led to me to the ER, and then eventually the OR. But just lots of extra beats, i.e. PAC's, PVC's, etc, etc....
Anyways-----thank you for the thoughts, and the prayer. Very appreciated.
He'snot in good shape at all. He's 76. Had a stroke about 4 years ago....then another about a year ago...Has dementia, and is currently ina nursing home. Its all inGods hands.I figured it out. I believe it was about your father-in-law falling. He wasn’t doing well. I hope that worked out for you guys.
So far, its been pretty good. Had a little but of an episode today, but my docs have told me this is normal, as it will take time for my heart to adjust. This thread is not about me, so I will try to be brief.
I have fought with Afib and Aflutter for more than ten years, three ablations, and many different types of medications.
Hopefully, the one ablation helps, but if it does not, keep trying, as you will find a course of treatment that can help at least a bit.
Arrhythmia SUCKS and is scary, at least at first.
For me, after a time, my anxiety subsided even though I still have episodes/events very often.
I found the below website and forum that helped me out years ago. I have not visited it in ages, though.

Thank you....Prayers for you as well.Hard times my way but I’ll be praying!
How are you doing now? My grandfather had WPW. So it was one of the first things they looked for. I do have some bundle branch, and they found someting called junctional rhythm as well.
Prayers are just as good----even better. Thank you.....Prayers man I hate to hear this if I can spare some cash I will send it your way. If I can't I will be praying for you everyday.
You are welcome. So far, its been pretty good. Had a little but of an episode today, but my docs have told me this is normal, as it will take time for my heart to adjust.
I appreciate info like this A LOT. Very glad you shared. How are you doing now?
Thank you very much......Donation made. God bless and go big blue.
No, I appreciate all the insight pertaining to this....I;ve had very little issues, but lately I;ve noticed I've been getting a few more. Notihng close to what I was, nor as many, or as frequent. They kept the loop recorder in for now, just in case----but feel comfortable the ablation was successful. As I;ve stated---life changing. Seems I have more energy....a amuch better appetite. Just has changed so much. My EP doc did tell me, as did the nurse, that if I feel them coming on, to do the "4 and 8" exercise: Deep breath through the mouth, hold for 4, and exhale out the nose for 8. Anxiety is more of an issue now, than before----As I said, scared its gonna come back. So they have put me on 5mg of valium for anxiety...You are welcome.
Full disclosure, I reread my post before hitting the post button. My daughter always tells me that I tend to "underplay" the seriousness of things. So, please do not take my light-heartedness (pun intended) as this not being serious.
I am doing ok overall.
The main thing I have to watch for is having an episode and the people around me freaking out. I have done this long enough to know what is going on and what I need to do.
I am a technical trainer and need to focus and talk all day. As you can imagine, arrhythmia can interfere with both.
I generally let my class know if I am having issues and that it is ok. "It is ok!!!!!!!!!" lol Emphasis added for comedic effect.
I went in June, and they downloaded the info from my loop monitor. I think I have had three hundred recordable events this year so far. I will go a week or two and have many mini events, then weeks without any.
After my first ablation, my heart went Bat Crap Crazy (heart rate in the low 40's, jumping to 200+) for a few days. This is because they did so many burns during the first ablation, and my heart did not know what was happening while healing.
At least that was my takeaway from the Afib Forum. It was nerve-racking, but the forum had many discussions about these events. However, listen to your doctor first.
It calmed down and was better for a while.
Last thing. If you are in arrhythmia try a cold towel on your neck. It can help sometimes. I believe it is called Vagus Nerve Stimulation. It does not fix anything, but has helped me on occasion to relieve symptoms.
Sorry to be so long winded.
I'm just wondering how posters are to know if things like this are legit or just a way to get some free dough. Don't mean to sound like a jerk, just being honest.
I understand that....Trust me, its legit. I have many who know me. Plus, my brother post on here.
Not to mention, many on Rivals know me, and know this is legit.
I might be a Hoosier, but I'm not that low....
And thank you for the prayers....Just as important.
I’ll second CB3UK’s comment. Krice Is a long time poster on the national boards. He's legit.Hes a long time poster on the national boards. He's legit.
Appreciate the kind words......Loved living in Nicholasville.I’ll second CB3UK’s comment. Krice Is a long time poster on the national boards. He's legit.
We’ve had some great phone conversations. He’s lived in Nicholasville, KY for a while. Married to a BIG UK fan. Great guy. Salt of the earth. I sent what I could.
FWIW, He treats UK fans better than UK fans treat UK fans.![]()
Thank you...I understand the reasoning....It was one THE reason I was hesitant to do so. Its a shame when people do scam the sysytem. Its the same with people abusing narcotics, i.e. pain meds. It has made it almost impossible for someone to obtain, b/c doctors are scared to prescribe.I am not saying that the OP is not legit. I read a story today about a woman who was caught embezzling money from her work. She was going to serve a year in jail but told the judge she has cancer and provided notes from doctors and everything. Surprise surprise she made the cancer up and now is looking at triple the time behind bars. I can't believe someone would do this. They don't realize they are potentially hurting people like the OP because people are so skeptical of everything anymore.
My prayers will got up for you and I pray for recovery and the help you need financially.
Did Doctor Baker do the ablation?I understand that....Trust me, its legit. I have many who know me. Plus, my brother post on here. If you'd like, I;d be more than happy to send info. And if anyone would feel better , you can donate to Baptist Health Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. That is where my cardiac ablation was done.
Not to mention, many on Rivals know me, and know this is legit.
I might be a Hoosier, but I'm not that low....
And thank you for the prayers....Just as important.
No. Hrak Chemchirian did the ablation. Not sure Baker is in with this group. Never heard the name, tbh. My cardiologist is Dr. Gondi. They are with Baptist Health Cardiology.Did Doctor Baker do the ablation?
