Vanderbilt is hurt.......

Problem is he's had a history of injuries. We've been pretty lucky with no injuries since Noel (knock on wood). We need him to be healthy.

What was it Willie did to his foot against Louisville in the sweet sixteen?

It ended up being a ligament or a small broken bone and he said it hurt like hell but he was fine by the time we started playing again.

Being reported by some on Twitter as a broken ankle. That would be 4-6 months to be 100%

Watching the replay it looks like it could be an achilles issue.

Really hope he is ok.

He would have been third guy at SF behind Cam Johnson and some guy named "Shooter" who our fans haven't identified just yet.

He was, and hopefully will still be, the best player in our incoming class. He was a pure Cal player - an absolute freakish combination of skills, athleticism, and aggression. Every second he spends recovering, we are a markedly weaker team.

UK fans will spend the next 72 hours going crazy

Literally the only thing that matters in basketball is having having shooters, and a shooter is always better than a nonshooter. Haven't you read this board?

And then all of 5 minutes later, you'll see the same "shooting is all that matters" posters criticizing the Golden State Warriors because all they do is jack up 3's.

I'd rather have a freakish combination of shooter, shooter, and shooter. Every second spent not shooting we are a markedly weaker team.

7 months is a long time to heal.It might not even be that bad because sometimes things will look worse than they turn out to be.

He'll be fine. Calm down on the 7 months talk. My God, thats a worst case scenario. He could be out anywhere FROM 3-7 months.
