Add those 2 to the list of players that seemed to be playing for about ten years.

Seriously. I remember seeing Ron Baker ball his guts out against us in the second round, and I just realized last night he was a sophomore at the time. Damn. How did KU miss out on an instate guy like him? He's better than most of Kansas' guards in the last 4 years.

Just curious, what's up with the deleted posts in this thread? I posted something innocent like "I knew Van Vleet had one year left but I would have bet my house that Baker was a senior last year" and it's gone. I'm not worried about it but just curious.

It's still there, just in another thread with this exact same title. Scroll down a little and you'll see it. I think the OP might've accidentally double posted.

VanVleet is as good a point guard as I've seen this year. For a guy that doesn't move the quickest he sure can break down a defense and is always in control and a very good shooter too.

I watched the first few minutes of the UNLV and WS game last night, and by the way the announcers treated the KU transfer Frankamp, you thought they just inherited a potential POY. The crowd ooohed and ahhed every time he touched the ball.

WSU may be better now with all their players back, but 56 points isn't exactly impressive for either end of the floor.

I believe UK would still beat Wichita st. It seemed like Ron baker was one of the guards that Murray burned up in the pan am games back in the summer...

Would it surprise anyone if the NCAA committee matches us up for a 'rematch' for their kids to try and get revenge?
