Absolutely. In reality, it's best to not consider Noah, Chandler, Perry as part of an 8 man rotation. They're there if u need them for additional depth but serve as solid practice pieces who are trying to develop.

We lost 4 perimeter guys from last year's team (Butler, Kriisa, Brea and Robinson), and only have 3 replacements so far, 2 of which are freshman (Lewis, Jasper & Lowe).

It makes sense the staff would want to go just as deep if not even deeper given the injury issues this year, PLUS feeling the need for more experience to replace 4 dudes who were all seniors.

You are 100% right. We saw what happened this year when key guys were out or lost and Pope is preparing to not let that happen again.

Not sure what our remaining NIL looks like after Oweh and Lowe and Jasper/Acaden, etc., but we have to open the checkbook for Alvaro and Yates. Get those 2 and I feel GREAT going into the season, even though we would still need a couple more pieces (backup 4 man and a rim protector).

But if you can get Yates and Alvaro, you HAVE to open up the checkbook for those guys.

I bet Yates is more. College basketball is way down the priority list there but its still LA and there's a ton of money to be thrown around. Doubt he'll be taking a discount at his next stop.

Either Yates or Pierre would be a great way to round out the guard/wing rotation. Get a couple big men and we're looking good.
