Bagley submitted his reclassification paperwork today, so I'd say Kentucky is plainly out of that sweepstakes. Maybe Enfield's absurd PR stunt helped. Maybe Bagley was always going to USC.

Why? Its not been a secret that Bagley would likely reclassify at least by second semester. Surly nobody believed anyone has been recruiting him to play next season. The kid is guaranteed to be a top 2 pick in the 18 draft. Which he is eligible for whether he reclassifies or not. Meaning nobody ever thought he would play a min of college basketball in the 18/19 season when he could be playing in the NBA. This isn't Diallo. This kid is pretty much guaranteed the number one draft spot. We are recruiting for this season same as everyone

He has to graduate before the next NBA season starts to be eligible for the next draft.

Yes I know. Have read quotes from his dad smart man no doubt he will have him eligible for the draft. Much easier to put credits together to be considered a high school graduate and eligible for the draft then be considered graduated and college eligible. Either way yes I agree thing this has been the plan all along and I think all the major schools have been involved and really nothing has changed much in this recruitment other than him graduating early being made public
