What do you predict will happen in the first couple episodes? Someone is shown getting pushed off that cliff at the train station and Beth is seen confronting the woman who seduced Jamie, who is also shown punching Jamie in the previews.
The first 2-3 seasons of that show were fantastic. But Beth became so insufferable I had to stop watching sometime around season 4 I guess. Has she had any kind of arc at all to where she's at least a decent human being?

The only thing redeeming in the least bit about her maybe taking in Carter off the streets after losing his Father. Even then, what a poor role model of a mother figure for a teen. The first 2-3 seasons of that show were fantastic. I agree and think 1923 may also suffer from the long layoff between season 1 & 2.I know the writers strike played a part (and Costner did his part), but 2 years between seasons really killed the momentum. It was the No. 1 show at one time ... now I have sort of lost interest (although I will of course watch).
You don't like Rip - do you hate TV shows?I'm not sure I want to watch it. Can't stand Beth. Don't like Costner's character. Or Rip.
And I'm sure those three will prevail in the end.
Tend to agree. Especially with the Beth picking up garbage scene even if it was short. Ideally that should have played out in some of the previous episodes of Season 5 since the bar attack on that woman was in the 3rd episode and had 5 more episodes in the first half of Season 5. Not '6 Weeks Earlier'.Seems like a lot of wasted time on the other story.
That also but I’m mainly referring to the story line about the other ranch. Is Sheridan working on another show? Just seemed strange under the circumstances.Tend to agree. He has multiple projects going including a 6666 spinoff that was filmed at the ranch this year. Coming out next year. I get why Sheridan is focusing so much on it since they had to move the cattle down there and Jimmy's move to the 6666 ranch. He is supposed to be the lead on that spinoff if I'm not mistaken. That also but I’m mainly referring to the story line about the other ranch. Is Sheridan working on another show? Maybe not, I do like his character though. When they blew up the meth heads trailer that killed his grandfather was one of my favorite parts watching it go up in flames.^^I don’t see Jimmy being able to carry a show but what the heck do I know? Still the whole show last night was just strange.

Beth is insufferable when dealing with Jaime an that stupid blood fued. Rest of the time I thought she's pretty good . Costner is a little annoying at times. Rip is one of best characters on TV the last decade.
Rip is becoming in same category as Walter White, Omar, Vic Makey, Boyd Crowder level characters. All the ones I listed were crazy too that's part the charm .1. He hates dogs
2. He's a psychopath
Everyone else in the bunkhouse I can relate to.
I hope Sheridan moves Cole Hauser to the spin off as well . Be shame seeing the Rip character end.He has multiple projects going including a 6666 spinoff that was filmed at the ranch this year. Believe they are doing one with Rip and Beth. Taylor must not sleep with all of the projects he is doing along with his ranching, etc. Guy is a machine.I hope Sheridan moves Cole Hauser to the spin off as well . Be shame seeing the Rip character end.
I agree. In the minority here but I can tolerate Beth's craziness as it is so wild that I find it humorous. Monica's character as it stands can fade away for all I care. The whining and playing the victim role all of the time is too much! If they would change her character arc, I wouldn't have a problem with her staying on. Show more support for Kayce during the death of John unlike she did when her brother died and the Dutton's losing Lee too in the cattle dispute shootout.First 5 mins good. Last 5 mins good. The in between was meh with meh acting. This episode was pretty much the series in a nutshell. Too many non-meaningful storylines that simply aren't needed.
My least favorite is Monica. Wouldn't bother me if she went to the train station.
He caught fire and knows if he slows down it will fade. Same with Dallas Jenkins who made the Chosen hes doing many projects at once as well. In TV. Once you hit you gotta keep foot on gas. U like movies where you take your time.Believe they are doing one with Rip and Beth. Taylor must not sleep with all of the projects he is doing along with his ranching, etc. Guy is a machine.
So I guess the rest of it is on Paramount+, so they tried to real you in last night on CBS without giving up too much.
Good. I'll do what I did last year. Paramount + will have the entire season on later this winter. I will get a 1 month subscription, binge watch it all and then cancel before the month is over.Actually it’s on Paramount not Paramount +. 8:00 on Sunday night.

No. He’s not in this season. He’s out.I think maybe they faked John Dutton's death to smoke out Jamie and his honey trap.
Noticed that they never showed the face of the dead body.
Probably wrong but killing off your main character seems risky.
