Up to #12 in NET

NET not that big a deal. NCAA already seeded us as a 10.

That was before the Texas loss and the Vandy win. It seems we'd be 12th, or that final 3seed as of now.

Interesting to see that the South region this year is Atlanta as opposed to say Texas or something. Kentucky fans would very well flood the South and Midwest region, and we'd probably do the same with Newark/East region (as opposed to if this was Boston like last year, another 50% further away).. for that reason I'd love to avoid the West. I think Kentucky could handle a 14-seed and then winner of 6/11-seed, and get to basically play in a very favorable Sweet16 region..

Like, looking at Lunardi's 6-seeds right now.. I think OleMiss is such a tougher matchup than Clemson/UCLA/Illini.

Would UK being underseeded really be that big of a deal.

Look at that bracket. Florida and Houston as our 1 and 2? If fully healthy UK being a 4, 5, or 6 in that scenario...... F*** YEAH!!!

Id rather that than Duke a second time and Tennessee a third time(going chalk). That west bracket would be a godsend.

I love the Lunardi bracket right now, not that it means anything. It has UK going to Indy if they make Sweet Sixteen. Then it would be Houston and Alabama if the seeds held up. UK would have a huge crowd advantage against Houston, and probably Alabama as well if it came to that.

If we go 9-9 in conference play is a 3 seed on the table?
We were already projected a 3 seed before Vanderbilt game. I would expect that if we go 3-2 for the remaining games, we'll hold as a 3 or even move up to a 2, depending on who that 3rd win comes at the expense of. If we go 2-3, I think we're still a 3 or drop to a 4 at the lowest.

The NET sure does love a blowout, even against flat out horrible teams. That's the only reason I can see the Zags are still ahead of us at 10 with 2 Quad 1 wins and 2 Quad 2 losses not to mention their 11 Quad 4 wins🙄.

I mean who cares if you are blowing out 8-18 #296 Portland. Cal St Bakersfield also blew them out. 9 of the Zags wins are against teams with bad losing records. Stupid.

If UK ends up a 4 or 5, they are 100% getting in Duke’s bracket. They won’t match up SEC teams in the S16.

Let's get healthy. I don't care for anything else right now.

Getting healthy is absolutely my birthday wish, but climbing these metrics while we are getting healthy bodes well for our prospects this season because it indicates we are getting stronger and helps seeding.

If SEC get 13 teams in then they might have to match up SEC.
Oh I agree, but I don’t believe they aren’t going to punish the 1 seeds if they absolutely have to match some up. I think you can expect Duke to safely be our #1 if we get a 4 or 5. The only thing that would change that is if another SEC team also got a 4 or 5 as well

Well obviously the NCAA Committee didn’t have them in their top 16 so they are prob looking more at their Quad 1 Wins than their wins against garbage teams. Basically UK just needs to beat OK and LSU and I’d say 4 at worst.

Alabama was a 4 seed last year with 11 losses going into the tournament. They were 4-10 against Q1 opponents and had the toughest schedule.

We will have a better record against Q1 opponents, a top 5 schedule, and a similar number of losses going into the tournament if we go 2-3 in our remaining regular season games.

Yes, that’s how tough the SEC is this year. Best league in a long time. This team in the SEC of 4-6 years ago would have only 4-5 losses max and way less quality wins. I’m glad because at least we are tested. Popes done a great job with a roster he assembled last minute. Give him time and we will have a good next several years IMO. Love the trajectory of the program even if some of this years losses have been baffling.
