Can't consider this one a big surprise when MSU didn't have Valentine. IMO Iowa should have won this game given that and the fact it was on their home court.
About as dumb as saying Bricoe isn't in the top three players on Kentucky. Dude averages double figures and is our best lockdown defender.

I wouldn't be too quick to appoint KU #1. If Xavier can beat Villanova this weekend, they have a shot at being ranked #1. Oklahoma could also squeeze in there if they beat Iowa State this weekend. That Oklahoma at Kansas game on Monday should be fun.
They may not be. They play Oklahoma on Monday. But, while I don't think they are a powerhouse, I think KU is pretty good. They are shooting over 45% from 3 pt range, as a team. It will tough for us to go into Lawrence, and win, with a young team. I think we will probably be 5-6 pt dogs. If we shoot well, and Alex comes to play, UK can pull it off. Perimeter defense will be a key for us, with the way they shoot the 3. Almost like the UL game, without the karate defense.
