UNC's Bradley staying in draft

What's their starting lineup looking like?

My guess:

G Berry
G Felton
G Pinson
F Maye
F Brooks

Unless I am forgetting someone.

Roy has never flourished when he has to start Freshmen. Berry will keep them in a lot of games, but he isn't getting much help. Defense, once again, will be a major weakness.

Sounds like a good time to accept probation. Put it off, get a title, then let the NCAA punish you once your team is down. The NCAA is able to say they did their job without really hurting UNC. The media applauds and life goes on.

That sounds about right to me.

I'm not a UNC fan in the slightest, but the year after a title is generally a hall pass.
That's a reasonable take - but I don't recall many rival fans or media guys (or even many of our own fans really) taking that view with our '13 team......

That is a NIT sqaud right there. Best case a 10 seed in the dance if Maye and Brooks get better.

Personally, I did. After that Tennessee beatdown I just kinda "meh'd" out the rest of the season. To me it was no biggie, because we had the heralded twins coming in. I think I had a lot more frustration with that regular season, that title game, and the FF game the next year.

Now that they have their title and their roster is down, UNC probably allows the NCAA to finally make a decision. If the NCAA gives them probation, at least it's in a down year for them. Good strategy.

We did that here and half the fans here we're going after Cal with pitchforks when we were in the NIT.
