Our football team just sucks. No other way to put it. Sadly, it looks like we have guys faking injuries and sitting out now too ie deon walker/barion brown. And btw….Brock vanderpuff is straight GARBAGE!!! What a LUCKY TD just now as he threw the pass 15yards short and the poor Murray st kid let it bounce right off of his hands and into Hardly’s hands for a TD.

Better lucky than good, I guess. Stooos just cannot stand playing the backup. Maybe Boley gets to play the second hslf. BV just isn’t that dude.

I protested today , ate 2 session tix and. a parking pass , offered them to a couple friends , no takers , decided it would be good to let seats go empty . Stoops has to go

Why are we throwing bombs in the first place? Shouldn't this game be used to groove plays we'll use against TX and UpfL? Anyone believe we're capable of holding out the rush long enough for us to throw a bomb against either of those teams? Shouldn't we be throwing slants and seams and to the flat and screens like we'll need to do later? Makes zero sense to me.

Cuz stoops thinks blowing out a 1-9 team will appease the fans and take some heat off.

Gotta do something about both BVG and Hamdan at the end of this year. Sadly, stoops isn’t going anywhere, but there need to massive changes. Dump whatever NIL is available to the OL.

We will free up a ton of NIL money when Brown transfers and Walker goes pro.

Well, Marques Cox just cost us 80+ yards with a hold. He's been a huge disappointment this year on an OL that has, as a group, been a huge disappointment.
Exactly why you can’t rely on getting players from directional MAC schools to play in a competitive league.

Key, Wilcox, and DSK are the only people on our offense that would play at any other SEC school. (Brown would too I suppose, but we have such bad line and QB that he can’t get the ball)

Hell, Stoops and the offensive staff won’t let Wilcox play at THIS SEC school. 🤦🏻‍♂️

It's what fans have been complaining was missing for a decade. Why would they not throw them if the defense gives them an opening? Are we complaining now just to complain? Oh wait, yes, yes we are.

I forgot where I was for a minute

This. The fact that our most explosive playmaker hardly ever plays is a direct indictment on how bad our coaching has been this year.
It’s so dumb to me. He is either on the team and eligible to play or he’s suspended. This BS of limiting snaps because of being in the “doghouse” is trash. Discipline him if that’s what he needs, but get him 60 snaps and 20 touches too so the offense can be better.

My point was we were going to win handily regardless of what we did. Why not prepare for the following two games instead of running plays we know should work against Murray St but not TX or UofL? I mean, so we complete a 50 yard bomb against Murray - no way we have the time make that same pass the next two weeks. Wouldn't it be prudent to prepare for the last two opponents against an overmatched FCS team?

I was certainly not one calling for long passes the past several years. We rarely complete them, they have a high risk of a sack and we end up burning downs for no benefit.

I wasn't intending to call you out, specifically. It's just that I hear constant complaining from people about what we should be doing and then when we do it they complain some more. I'm just really tired of fans that don't get it.

To answer your question directly- NO.

We shouldn't be running anything against Murray St that we'd be running against TX OR UL.

1) WHY try things out against a team that doesn't match up the same way?
2) WHY give anyone game film of what you're going to run against them?
3) Running those plays vs Murray St that you'd use against 2 other schools TELLS YOU NOTHING about how they'd work and how your offense would do against the other 2 schools, so there's no upside to it.

This game wasn't just about this season but also about next season and further into the future. You've got to show the recruits what the plan is going forward. You've got to set a target and shoot for it.

Yep. Then refusing to say good things about his production is Cal like in its stubbornness. It reminds me of how Joker would refuse to give Coshik Williams props after a great spring game, and never give him the ball in a position to really shine. Did the latter to Eric Scott because he didn't want him to play TE at UK.

Coaches playing politics and favorites makes me sick. If the staff had played and rode Wilcox against at least 3 (maybe 4 or more) of our opponents, we'd be bowl eligible already and playing for a better bowl location. Makes me wonder if the bottle isn't causing all of this dysfunction in play calling and personnel.
