All 3 unbeaten teams left from the mighty SEC (Tenn, Fl and Oklahoma) and they could all very well lose their opening SEC game. Florida vs Kentucky, Arkansas at Tenn and Oklahoma at Alabama.
Well, since every game has a winner and a loser, there will be just as many losses as wins now that conference play is starting. So losses are about to add up for the conference. It's just a matter of who takes the losses. Hope we're one of the teams with the least. The sec is insane this yearPretty much every team in the conference has a gaudy record. I look for a few to come back to Earth now that conference play is starting. I just hope and pray we aren't one of those teams.
Good. The moment the rest of the SEC is cheering for Kentucky, something has went terribly wrong in the bluegrass. We theoretically should be cheering for the conference while each of its members wish they could be us.Screw the SEC. They screw UK anytime they get a chance. Other SEC fans never pull for UK once they lose out.
You say that. But Cal's teams are always good for 1 upset. I'd much rather it be over UT than UK.Ark ain’t winning
Cal teams play well in Knoxville. Wouldn’t be shocked with Arkansas win before they lose to a Vandy or something. That’s how it goes with CalYou say that. But Cal's teams are always good for 1 upset. I'd much rather it be over UT than UK.
But also, this is a solid Ark team. They will probably lose a few they shouldn't, but may also win a few they shouldn't, I'd say finish 8-10 or 9-9, possibly 7-11. They don't shoot it well from outside (big surprise there), but Theiro is playing well as is the FR PG. Big Z in good in a role, but as the former UT center gets healthy he'll be a good C/5 for them.
Count me in this camp as well, a season long grind does no one any favors. It causes NCAAT seedings to be skewed to some degree. I'm not a fan of any team in the SEC except UK. We still have to put up with black outs .white outs, tee shirt day and goof ball fan day where ever we show up. Give me a league with a few crappy teams any day.I never cheer for conference strength. Some of our best teams have been in seasons when the SEC was extremely top-heavy and did not have a lot of parity from top to bottom (there were great teams but just not a lot of them): 1993, 1996, 2012, 2015.
It's a myth that the SEC needs to be strong in order for Kentucky to be great. I'd prefer going back to the days when 10 SEC wins could automatically be counted on.
Ark is better than we want them to be and it sucksYou say that. But Cal's teams are always good for 1 upset. I'd much rather it be over UT than UK.

Probably bc according to UK fans they've never lost fairly in a close game, despite enjoying the same favoritism from the SEC that bama gets in football.Screw the SEC. They screw UK anytime they get a chance. Other SEC fans never pull for UK once they lose out.

That and the ego of always claiming to be somebodys superbowl, which even bama doesn't have that kind of ego.
But you're so blinded by blue you can't see the forest for the trees and everybody else has to be the problem. Not you, never you.
Florida non conf wins outside north Carolina are very weak .All 3 unbeaten teams left from the mighty SEC (Tenn, Fl and Oklahoma) and they could all very well lose their opening SEC game. Florida vs Kentucky, Arkansas at Tenn and Oklahoma at Alabama.
And that UNC win isn’t exactly choice either.
