I lived 2 miles from where NC St played and my don was a student there last year. But had they not won the ACC-T they wouldn’t have even gotten in the NCAA-T.

But I think they were mostly grad transfers much like we are this year. I know the big fella is gone, as is the high scoring SG that my son went to high school with.

When we missed on our top coaching targets(Hurley, Wright, Drew) I was hoping we’d give Ben McCollum a look. He was D2 but man his D2 resume was unreal. 4 titles and averaged less than 3 losses a season over his last 8. Hes still quite young for a coach too. Think he’s only 43.

I'm not sure why the hell Kentucky would have to play any road game against the ACC but I say get out of it in the future. Rupp arena belongs in the ACC/SEC challenge. Cutting it out is cheating the challenge and sec's chance of winning. That shit needs to stop or we don't play in The challenge.
I will say it again RUPP ARENA should never be shut out of a conference challenge. Bring the ACC to Kentucky so they can get their ass whooped just like Louisville. Matter of fact Louisville is good enough for my ACC challenge tastes. Bunch of crap playing ACC anything on the road. I ain't trying to prop up that sorry ass conference with a win over us possibly.
There's nothing to gain from beating sorry ass Clemson but there sure is a lot to lose conference wise when they go to select teams in the tournament. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Don't all the teams in it alternate home/road every other season? Why should UK be any different in that regard?

It is, after all, the SEC/ACC challenge, not the Rupp Arena challenge...which, unfortunately, a "Rupp Arena Challenge" wasn't nearly as daunting the last several years with the previous coach.
