Ulis reaction to the last play Cal drew up

Can we fire Cal and just hire Ulis as HC?! I’d be ALL in.
Supposedly not the only one. Cal has to go. Yesterday.
Z should have been camped behind three point line. Dilly same. Reeves same. And Reed should have drove and fed one of them.
That was a milder version of my reaction after I saw it.
A mysterious Cal leave of absence would be nice.

Honestly, I'd be ok if Cal were fired right now and Ulis took over the team. That's not happening, obviously, but how much worse could it freaking be?

You can't camp out behind the three point line when you're on the bench. I get Z's bad defense but to think he's not better on offense than Ugo or Bradshaw is just crazy. There was no reason for those two guys to be on the bench and Edwards on the floor. Insanity!

Seriously, you got a DUDE like Ulis, who I consider one of the most intelligent Point guards I have ever witnessed, who would absolutely lead this team on the court, now have the opportunity to actually draw up plays KNOW exactly at that time the lob play would fail. LIKE SERIOUSLY CAL ULIS IS THE REAL DEAL! USE HIS KNOWLEDGE !!! He was a coach on the court when he was playing. I remember the game cal got tossed, Payne was coaching and just let Ulis run the offense. He didnt even bother trying to tell Ulis what plays to run, the DUDE knows. USE HIS INTELLIGENCE !!!

AD and boosters need to sit John down and ask some serious questions about this play as it was beyond ridiculous. You can't pawn it off on Reed. He was just doing what he was told. Options Pshh BS.
Lifetime contract can't make him immune and unaccountable. There has to be some way of making his job difficult if he does not try. Take away his office and put him in a closet filing TPS reports.

I just went back and watched the play again to see the 2nd option on the play which was Reeves. We literally did nothing to get him open either . It was so clogged up down there .

Boys ask yourself this question and honestly regardless of your stance on Cal. Pretend you are just a handicapped and have to set the line for positive or negative impact of his game coaching.

i just tell reid or antonio to just face up and shoot it. they’re 3pt%’s are crazy high. you know defenders will be scared to foul them in that situation. they probably get the shot off fairly clean.
He has all these good assistants and is too stubborn to listen to them. He needs to go!
Ulis would retire at UK and UK would LOVE it!
