Ulis and Briscoe

I think they are key to making a great run. If we can get them to hit more I know we will be able to beat up many in front of us. We should be able to knock off several road teams and win the home games. We need them to hit on a regular basis. They are the key, IMO, to having a deep run this season.

What about Isaiah Briscoe tells you that he's going to hit shots?

If we're relying on his outside shooting to take us anywhere, it's not a good sign.

Ulis, Murray and Briscoe, combined, are more than adequate for a contender. We need a lot more from Skal, Lee and Poythress on the offensive end and less FOULS from all 3. One or two of these guys is in foul trouble every single night.

The problem is, without Ulis and Briscoe hitting, our inside guys get beat up. We need to spread out the other team so we can get easy shots inside. We know Murray can knock down shots now we just need Ulis and Briscoe to start hitting everything in front of them.

If they can hit then we will score at will on the inside.

Did you see the stat where in our four losses opponents we actually have fewer turnovers than we have in our 13 wins? Average, I mean.

ulis did shoot much better as a freshman. i certainly expected him to shoot 35% or better from 3

the real key, as another poster alluded to, is one of either skal or lee getting his head out of his ass

poythress is what he is skill-wise. i don't really have an issue with his effort. the other two can and should be providing more
