The UL schedule could be one of the worst non conference schedules in the last 15 years. Home games against some of the most horrible teams in the country. They have fooled a lot of people with a fluke game at Mich St, but I see UL being very sloppy on Saturday.

I got a feeling that UK will have a type of performance that we witnessed in the Duke game (focused and relentless).

Wish I felt as confident as some of you. Skal's nuts drop over Christmas break? Convince me.

I wanna see Humphries, Wynard or Lee and go small. I love Skal, but it's hard to rush physical development. His touch is insane, duh!! I think the kid is 3-4 years away from being all he can be. And he is gonna be very special. The pit moves, touch, when he can get position and be stronger than guys=game over

I think as always this will be good game between UK and UL. When you look at UL schedule and the 12 games the only tough game they had so far was Michigan State. If you go through the SOS Rank with the remaining 11 teams the avg. is 200+ SOS rank. Most of the RPI's are 200+ for the teans that UL has played so far this season. After the loss to Michigan State the next 6 games were against teams that there RPI's avg. were 175+ and SOS Rank above 200+. They have played teams like Kennesaw, Utah Valley, Missouri-KC, Grand Canyon, Eastern Michigan, and WKU. Even before the Michigan State Loss the Opponents that UL played RPI was a 200 avg and SOS Rank was 200+. As someone mentioned above this is worst Schedule in 15 years and I believe its the worst schedule in the history of NCAA Basketball. There is no team in the top 25 would lose any of these games except the away game at Mich. State. If they didn't have the transfers of Lewis and Lee which avg. 15ppg and 20ppg this UL team would be terrible this year in the ACC.

Out schedule is terrible this year but conference play will boost it Billy Bones
Terrible doesn't even begin to describe it. UofL's SOS is #331 out of #351, and their best win is against #131 Grand Canyon.

Hate to tell you, but the ACC isn't strong like the old Big East (maybe at the top it is, but there is a big drop off). There are still teams such as VT, BC, WF, etc... in that conference. I don't think ACC conference play is going to be strong enough to magically boost the #331 SOS like you're counting on it doing.

UK has to tighten up their D. They cannot let their guards shoot wide open 3's and can't give up offensive rebounds for 2nd chance points. They did it against Duke but not UCLA and OHIO ST and we all know the results of those games. I expect UK to play with a chip on their shoulder after last week. I look for a tough, hard fought game with the CATS Winning.....GO CATS!!

Just went and checked their board for chits and giggles ... they actually believe that our game against them is our Super Bowl ... not the game against Duke in Chicago, or the game @ Kansas ... rofl. They are a special kind of stupid.

I am concerned about our ability to control the frontcourt. In the last few games between us, that is one reason we have been dominant. We have been a lot stronger at the 4 and 5 positions.

However, this year, they do appear to be at least even and maybe a little stronger in frontcourt, because of the way Skal is playing, among other players.

The only saving grace is that their big men tend to get into foul trouble quickly, like Onuaku, who misses half of most games due to foul trouble.
