Oh lord they are doing it again on Scout ..... here is a link

http://www.scout.com/college/louisville/forums/2755-the-yum/14417559--just-rewatched-the-first-half

Our Lee did foul their Lee in the one pic but good god. They are still b*tching about Murray supposedly fouling Lee on that first half 3. Even though the replay and even a pic in one of their own threads shows a clean block. Hand is part of the ball stupid UL fans.

I also find it funny that they are going full hypocritical about getting a ton of body contact on a block when it lead to them winning a title against Michigan in '13 (you guys remember the block I'm talking about) but even though Poy got ball, they are complaining he then also got a ton of body which he did but UL should be the last team to complain about it seeming how it won them a title.

OMG I love how crazy it makes them to lose to us.

If the officials were in our back pocket, we'd of won by 16 + . please tell me they play at Duke this year so they can see first hand what refs in a back pocket look like

I remember bringing that epic thread from two years ago to Rupp Rafters. It went on to be one of the most classic threads in rafters history, for good reason. I truly hope they start posting still shots again so we can point and laugh once more. Uavel fans are the gift that keeps on giving...and giving...and giving...thank you, lil'bro.

Did they mention the flagrant elbow at the 10:50 mark by their Lee on our Lee? It wasn't a follow through on the shot. He saw it was a UK player and threw an elbow to the head of Marcus Lee. That Lee kid is a dirty playing punk POS. I don't care if he scored 50 points.

They actually posted a pic of Murray and Lee on Lee's 3pt attempt. It clearly shows fingertips on the ball and also touching Lee's hand on the shot.... They were using that as proof of a foul..... [roll]

Here is the pic they posted one of the supposed key missed calls that cost them game .. Rotflmao.. They've gotten too spoiled by their own home cooking it seems.

I re-watched the game now non emotionally. I could see where RP got upset with the refs especially early on where two foul were called off of rubs where UL players were setting picks. Even the announcer said on the second one, an out of bounds play, that this was a long-standing UL play. Were they fouls? Well if it had been called on UK we would be as equally upset as our fans are on some calls that were made against us. I saw a post yesterday where they took a picture of Murray trying to dunk the ball and in a frozen shot you can see the players hand touching Murray. But, if you watch the play live Murray lost the ball as well before that touch while in motion and it was the correct non-call. Same with Poy's block on Stockman. Poy's hand also touched the UL players hand but 90% ball, so it was a correct non-call. The point is that both players and fans have to adjust to how a game is being called. The refs were calling those screens and they called one on UK too. There was nothing wrong in terms of them being fouls, but in some games they might be non-calls. If you called every player touch there would be no one left by the second half. It has to be a fairly strong foul creating an unfair advantage for a team and I thought for the most part the refs did a decent job. Certainly the calls evened out giving neither team an advantage. Plus, even if you were to argue that Kentucky got a few home court calls, they missed a number of free throws and that was advantage UL. RP was out of line with his half-time comments and he was pissed off that he lost, I am sure some comments were being called out when he walked down the corridor at the end, and was equally inappropriate with his one finger response.

I get the feeling he may be retiring at the end of this year and didn't care what fans or the media thought.

P.S. Fans calling for his banner to be taken down are crazy. The guy brought our program back under the worst circumstances, coached arguably the best college team ever assembled, won a national championship, was in another final four final game that was lost in overtime, etc. I think RP is an egotistical jerk, was a sorry sack of .... for going to our closest rival within our State (especially when he was being offered by both the University of Miami and UNLV) so it wasn't about needing a job as at eiether program he could make it his own, and he could have chosen high profile UNLV at the time. Nevertheless, despite whom he is, or what he has done, he was a great coach for the time he was at Kentucky and deserves to be there.

there were bad calls both ways. Murray got pushed in the back by Mahmoud (Mahmoud got all back and no ball) the caused a Murray turnover and a Louisville run out in the first half. It was a clear missed call. Also, Murray was fouled on his failed dunk attempt imo.

They see what they want to see and choose not to see what does not support their position. Bad calls and no-calls went both ways. Stop crying about officiating and do what you need to do to win the game. God I hope our fans are never this insane.

I noticed that too and wondered how in plain sight the one ref missed that call ... them remembered the ref who missed that call was pat adams and case closed... that guy has always let teams beat the crap out of us with no calls.

Crying won't help em, praying won't do them no good next year at the Bucket either. We've beat them there more than they have us as well. We beat them at Freedom Hall more than they beat us there, too.

They would be much happier if they would compare themselves to WKU and Morehead St.. They bite off more than they can chew when they try to climb up on our mountain.

It's going to be so much fun when the NCAA shows them who they really are. The sleaziest program in the history of college athletics. Ghetto commuter school trying to be a pig with lipstick.

They whine like a bunch of girls after a loss similar to many on this board. It goes with the territory.

It's absolutely astonishing to see the amount of groupthink their boards show. Not one poster is saying anything other than the refs were in uk's favor.

thsts one reason why posting here is so much fun. People have a lot of leeway here. Their board is like North Korea.

All fans complain about fouls (especially during games) but there is a special level of stupidity and/or delusion that comes with the threads where they whine about the officiating in games against us. In their minds they have literally never lost to us for any reason besides the refs. The massive multi page threads they concoct with "evidence" of referee interference whenever we beat them are just flat out embarrassing. I've never seen anything like that from any fanbase besides theirs.

they need to stop worrying about losing to us and start getting ready for their superbowl against wake forest. this game makes or breaks them.

The block poythress had should have actually been an offensive foul on stockman. Extended arm bar.... Crushed Poy in the face with it.

UL fans and Rick can snivel all they want about the calls, but anybody crying their @ss off over AP putting Stockman's dunk back in his face is an idiot. The HL had an excellent picture of it in yesterday's "big blue" section.

It's picture #15 in this link:

I'm not sure many Kentucky fans would be upset to go into a hostile arena and win the foul game for most of the match up. When Kentucky goes to an equally intense arena next month, in Allen Fieldhouse, and somehow gets into the double bonus before Kansas gets regular bonus? All the while having only 2 less fouls by game's end? With a team that isn't known for mugging the opponent like a Louisville/Manhattan/Cincy team? Yea, I'll be thrilled.

I mean just think about that.. How the hell can such a physical defensive team go into some one ELSE'S arena and win the foul battle?

They were crying about the Refs even before the game was played, bunch of sore losers making excuses ahead of time because they knew what was coming.
They don't have a leg to stand on with their whining ,crying complaining.

Classless Fans,Classless Coach,Classless University

I wish Cal would conduct an experiment in a game where it wouldn't matter, and not say one thing to the refs the entire game. Just to see how it would affect things. I am convinced some of the calls they "miss" are because certain refs get annoyed when coaches yak at them all the time.
