UL playing Texas Tech this week

Will be interesting to see how that goes. No one will be there b/c of time and weather, so probably not much of a home field advantage, but also not sure how much those Texas boys like playing in this cold.

UL never schedules anyone that's any good on the weekends, all of their quality OOC opponents (UK, Texas Tech, Candy) are during the week. Typical bush league move by them to make sure that they can leave room for Western Carolina and EKU on the first few weekends of the season.

Tech up 3-1 against Louisville in the bottom of the 4th, but UL is threatening with runners on first and second and one out.

Cardinals loaded the bases, but Tech got a double play to end it and go to the 5th still up 3-1.

Louisville up 5-4 bottom of the 7th. TT scored 3 runs in the 1st, but the Cards have battled back to take the lead.

Thought they would have a big drop off this year, but it certainly dosent seem to be the case.

A split is fairly expected there. Either way, it is pretty beneficial to UK, especially if UK sweeps UL.

Despite their legendary and varied moral lapses, UL has a damn good athletic program, and their baseball coach is top notch.
