@tj_walker and I give different picks here, curious about yours. Note: I'm not even saying I think Kentucky is definitely going to win the SEC. They'd certainly be towards the top of the list but it's not a runaway thing on paper.

1. UK
2. UF
3. Bama
4. A&M
5. Mizzou
6. Arkansas

I think those are your NCAA tourney teams.

Maybe one or two of Auburn, USC, UGA, UT, and Vandy also work their way in.

Biggest competition for UK in the SEC this season.

1. Kentucky
2. Kentucky

In that order.

I am not sold on Missouri. It's a question of if they're talented enough to overcome their coaching...I reckon they're going to have to show me.

This should be a good throws, definitely some good chatter for August.
Has to be a toss-up between Bama and Florida. 2 solid rosters with really good coaches.
My vote, without looking at schedules, is Florida.
Like others I'm not sold on Missouri and/or South Carolina. I recall seeing USC rated pretty high, but I don't understand why, they lost something like 90% of their key players. Heck, just losing Thornwell is going to be too much to overcome.

I agree, though I'm not quite sold on Avery as being a really good college coach. Not yet.

We shall see, pulling Alabama out of the cellar is going to be extremely tough, it's going to take a heck of a coach to do that. He (Avery) seems to be on the right track.

I'll say Florida, A&M, and Arkansas could be our biggest challengers. I could be wrong about the Hogs but aren't they returning most of their team from last year? If so they'll be pretty good. I'm not sold on Alabama yet.

On paper, the league as a whole finally looks like it's going to be good, but the other SEC teams have to stop losing all the early November and December games to the Hofstras and Norfolk States of the world. Those losses kill the perception of the league year after year right out of the gate.

I don't think they'll be our biggest competitor, but I think UT will be a surprise. They were one of the younger teams in the country last year and they gave us trouble with how physical they played.

I think Florida will be our biggest competition. I like their coach.

Florida and Alabama are going to be good this year. I feel like Missouri will be similar to LSU in 15-16 with the top recruit, a mix of vets, but never really get going. I don't know who Arkansas and Vandy return, I only follow UK in the off season. I know South Carolina will be rebuilding after their best year in, well ever.

After a three peat of winning the SEC regular season and conference tournament I fell like this will be our toughest year yet in terms of winning it. Nobody challenged in 14-15, A&M did in 15-16, and Florida last year. However I think this year there are multiple challengers and is the first year in a while I take no shame in finishing second or third since the conference should be decent for once.
