I heard this game is to replace a deal that UK had in place to play South Florida.

Kentucky was going to host South Florida and pay them a good amount in order to help Coach O.

When they fired him, Cal got that game off the schedule QUICK, and I heard that this game replaced it.

That's why it's just a 1 year deal.
