UK will lose to Missouri and beat Kansas

Why? Because UK's last 14 games WWLWWLWWLWWLWW. We win two and lose one. If the pattern were to stay true we lose to Missouri and then we win at Kansas and at Tennessee. Hopefully we will break that pattern.

My concern is that you are wrong on 2 out of 3.

Well actually there is a 50% chance of winning each game. One winner and one loser. So the chance is slightly higher than 1%.

However I understand what you mean, will be extremely tough to win in Lawrence. But, we are playing better, so who knows...

I think it is more unlikely that we lose to Missouri, at Rupp Arena, than winning in Lawrence.

Believe there's a much greater chance that we beat Missouri and Kansas and then struggle and maybe lose at Tennessee 3 days later -- do to let down. Firmly believe us beating Kansass will depend a lot how Refs call the game and if they get home court advantage that they blatantly do!

I can understand some of the confidence being displayed by Kentucky fans in this thread about the match-up against KU. Frankly, we struggle against dribble penetration and that is exactly what Ulis, Briscoe and Murray excel at doing. The issue is that although they can penetrate against KU guards, will they be able to finish? Murray puts up some big points, but makes some pretty questionable decisions on shot selection. Ulis is a star. Briscoe often penetrates too deep with no idea what to do when he gets too deep which leads to a turnover.

Going to be a good game and better than I would have predicted watching Kentucky play earlier in the year, but Kentucky has improved a bunch and KU is in kind of a funk lately, even after putting up 46 points in the second half against Texas yesterday.

I don't see us beating KU unless all 3 guards score 15+ and Poy has a great game 12 pts, 10 rebs at least.

All this griping about refs before the ball has even been tipped is pretty pathetic. Are people just looking for an excuse ahead of time, because this Kentucky team has as much talent on it as any team in the country, and way more talent than about 95% of every other division 1 college basketball team.

Looks like a bunch armchair umpires are already lining up to complain and find excuses and the game's still a little less than a week away.

You better worry your team doesn't get its ass handed to them in Ames as opposed to what excuses UK fan are making.

I would be more confident about our chances with Kansas if I thought Poythress and Lee could play without getting into foul trouble.

Kansas is a different animal at home much like us. It doesn't help that last year they got embarrassed against us on national tv. Anything can happen, but we got beat by auburn which kind of kills confidence right now.

I would be more than shocked if we dropped a game to a bad Missouri team at home even though they did beat Auburn by 15. I can't imagine how poorly Auburn must have played to get beat like that by Missouri.

Mizzu actually played a few teams pretty hard until 8-7 minutes left in the game. UK probably gets them by 15 or 18 but KU is gonna be ready for us and getting calls there will be impossible. I'm okay with losing by 8-9 though, then see'm in the tournament and beat them..

if you don't beat Mizzou by 20+ at home, it should be considered a disappiontment. They are simply atrocious in every facet. Plus, I hate that school.

If UK loses to Mizzou, then this season is gonna end really early in March. Mizzou is dreadful.
