Nope. They are tied, and playing not to lose like they are in the lead. This Missouri defense is very talented and well coached. It will regroup and come out stronger in the second half. Need points on this first drive badly.
Towles is compensating by using his legs, which is what he should have been doing from the start. That's on the coaching staff. I like stoops, but he's not very impressive sometimes in management and game prep. I'm not sure what the hell the deal is.

That wasnt our lines fault. Thats on the runningback to pickup the delayed blitz. Boom didn't catch it in time. That said Patrick has to get it out faster. He did have less options since we went max protect with two backs blocking but he still could have thrown it out of bounds.

I wasn't criticizing anything Towles was doing. I was commenting on how Missouri planned to bring in the backup to get a series. We haven't done that yet in any game. So when Towles takes a big hit and has to come out in a key game, we will be forced to bring in a guy with no experience all year.
This offense has no Air Raid philosophies at all really. Think this is more West Coast with traditional spread. There is no mesh, levels, or zip/zap. Does have screens as run extensions. Has those out the toosh. But I don't get where they call this Air Raid.
He had his hands the ball carrier in the first half on several of those 3rd down conversion, they NEVER go backwards. Too much arm tacking. He is a very good 3rd down backer.
