Cats look to win the series and the SEC east tonight @ 7:00 pm, on the SEC network. UK will send jr. lefty Zach Logue to the mound, while the Gators will send the # 2 guy Brady Singer to the bump.
A Cat victory, and an LSU loss would set off a massive celebration in the BBN. I believe a win tonight or tomorrow, would lock up a National seed in Coach Minge's 1st season in the bluegrass.... GO CATS !

I'm courious to see how the Cats come out to play. I'd love to see the Cats jump on the Gators early. In my estimation, the Gators are back on their heels just a little. Most if not all the so called experts had the Gators winning these games based on their overall pitching and bats that's come around of late.

Well, we face another outstanding Florida pitcher. Logue has done well of late, but it really just seems as though he throws 2-4 mistake pitches each game and unfortunately the other team has hit those mistake pitches a long way. He's given up 17 home runs on the year and that is really his undoing. Even if you just assume that all 17 of those were solo shots (which they weren't), then they'd account for 46 percent of the earned runs he's given up on the year. That is just disgusting. So, again... he has to keep the ball down. This Florida lineup has some power throughout so he can't take hitters off. He needs enough run support that he can give up a few of those bombs and not been in too much trouble. My heart really wants to go ahead and win this series today rather than put the pressure on Sunday... not sure my nerves could handle it.

Don't see the Cats jumping on Singer early - hope I am wrong but would not be surprised to see a repeat approach of patience and trying to drive up the pitch count.

Hopefully the 'Cats saved up some hits for tonight and Logue comes out sharp and keeping the ball down and on the corners. Would be great if UK can claw out a W tonight.

That's okay by me. The longer they put it off the more I can end up watching.

A little trouble but he gets out of it without giving up anything. Now let's make Singer pitch a few.

Logue has just not had it lately, not sure how long he'll last tonight. This UF pitcher is giving us fits. 3 strikeouts in 4 batters.

Got to put the ball into play and out more pressure on them. 4 pitch strikeouts won't cut it.

Logue just needs to eat some innings and keep the mistakes down. The offense should back him up. Keep them under 3 runs and we should be fine. Give up more than that and we will be in some trouble

That's 39 earned runs on the year for Logue. I wonder how many of them are from home runs. It's got to be the majority. Just crazy.

Logue does what Logue does and gives up his 18th home run.
Really a disturbing trend. He is constantly up 0-2 in the count and then he will throw three straight bad pitches and then a fat pitch on the full count.

Not sure Ming won't want to think about subbing Thompson as our #2 starter??

Sometimes of us have been screaming for that for a while!

Logue may not be setting it on fire, but we have to get to the pitcher!! As always, if you can't score... you can't win! #GOCATS!!
