What’d you thinking about the playcalling/blocking tonight in light of what you were saying about the wide zone yesterday?

Don't forget, this is a win over a 16th ranked team.
It’s a good solid win we needed. Never should’ve dropped that one to Ole Miss. and last week still pisses me off.
Should be going into Knoxville undefeated. But. It is what it is.
We were better than Ole Miss. easily. We beat ourselves.
Loved it. Thought we saw way more gap/inside zone. That's why we looked like an OL again.
If we saw any wide zonez it was less than 5 snaps
The quick short passes were sensible too. Spurts of consistency.
That's been there all along. Will always had a multi layer release valve, usually backside. Was really good to see him finally take it early and give his guys a chance to make plays while saving hits on his own body
Were we easily better than OM? They led nearly the whole game. I know we kept shooting oursleves in the foot (and have continued doing so) but good teams usually don't beat themselves.
Couple of punkish players for MS ST getting in CR face all the time. CR just ignored them most of the time. Loved the way we took away the slant. LB's played well. Loved the way #6 closed fast on a play that looked like was going to be a first down. Walker hard to handle. Valentine with several big plays.
On offense CR a man out there. Really amazing how many times he goes over the top of anyone brave enough to tackle him straight up and the number of times he breaks tackles. Eight in the box at times would like to see a couple of QB keeps early to keep them a tad more honest. Key is a complete WR. Should be ranked pretty high in the SEC next year. Good to see Crowdus and Lewis making big plays. TM should have a good movie career when his football days are over.

Yes we were. Neither team wanted to win that game it seemed. We had countless opportunities to win it.
