UK Softball off to Super regional...

for the 3rd straight year, out scored their 3 opponents 26-4 this weekend. Defeated ACC champ VT twice to take the regional.
Now will almost certainly face the overall #3 seed Washington Huskies in Seattle. Great job ladies, you have made us proud !

Lawson may be the best coach on campus. Has really built a powerhouse here. Great work

They seem to always get a tough draw in the Super but are certainly capable of advancing. Lots of home grown players. All about pitching. They might be the best defensive team in college and have a varied good offense

Their defense is amazingly good. They are all good on defense but their catcher, shortstop, left fielder, center fielder and third baseman will make plays like you see in the pro's. And having two solid pitchers is huge.

At this point in time Skinner, Stoops, Cal might argue that point.. It's nice to have coaches of that caliber on campus. Now if we could get a baseball coach up to snuff we'd be in good shape.
