The funny thing is, most of us were talking about Cal not landing the elite SF while coaching at Kentucky. It seems this coming season Cal will have more than one elite 3 to put on the floor. Knox and Vanderbilt is the type of 3 we have been missing out on the last couple of years. Cal also has guys like Diallo and Washington that would have played the 3 at Kentucky during the last few recruiting classes. With the size, length and quickness Cal can put on the floor, if this Kentucky team isn't elite on defense, it won't be from talent, it will be work ethic. With Cal as Kentucky head coach, our team playing hard on defense is something we have never had to worry about before. This coming season most likely won't be any different.

For anyone interested below is the average height of past UK teams going back to Rupp's Runts, including the current 2017-18 team. This is unweighted by minutes played so walk-ons etc. are equally weighted in the average.

Below is what the numbers look like weighted by minutes played (reason I showed the unweighted chart above is that until games actually start, I won't be able to show the current team in the chart below.)

Jon Scott, you are the MAN!!
Jared Carter and Shag (not sure about Woo) both ended up playing basketball for pay.

You missed the point. Tubby hardly played them. All that height means nothing sitting on the bench.

Wow! Thank you! I have known for a long time you were a good dude....this just enforces it. I can't say why I don't like bar graphs. But, I can read them.
