Sitting at 6-0, how can any UK fan not dream big at this point? So, here are some thoughts on the possible paths to the CFP.

1) Win out, including SEC Championship. 13-0 with wins over Georgia and Alabama. No brainer for selection committee.

2) 11-1 with close loss to Georgia. This will require a LOT of help across the college football landscape. First, Georgia will have to win out and then beat Bama convincingly in the SEC Championship game. Second, the Big 10 East will have to beat each other up, leaving OSU, Mich, Mich St, and Penn St all with 2 losses each. If this doesn't happen, then we're in danger of seeing two teams from Big 10 get in. Third, we'll need Baylor or Ok St to knock off Oklahoma, and then Oklahoma to knock of Ok St. Next, we need Clemson or NC St to knock off Wake Forest. It would just be our luck for an undefeated Wake team to knock us out of the CFP. Finally, we'll need the committee to value our one close loss to Georgia more than the plethora of 1 loss teams from either the PAC 10, Big 12, ACC, or undefeated Coastal Carolina or 1 loss ND.

If all that happens in option 2, I can see UK getting in along with Georgia, Cincinnati, and Iowa (or whichever Big 10 East team beats Iowa.) The risk is that another one or even a two loss team could still get in ahead of UK, even with all those things above happening. For example, a one loss Oklahoma team could get in, or a two loss Alabama or Ohio St could get in ahead of us. That's why Option 1 is what I vote for! GBB!
