Then some fans are going back to Billy Clyde days when everyone convinced themselves that Vinny Zollo and Dakota Euton were superstars.

I don't recall Billy Clyde reaching the sweet sixteen, so once again you are wrong. With good coaching, it isn't as much about the dog in the fight as it is the fight in the dog. With Cal we had a lot of great dogs without a lot of fight. I will continue trusting Pope until he gives me reasons not to.

Garrison, Chandler, Oweh, Lewis, Moreno, Johnson are all top 35 players out of high school. whats this brain falling out lunacy that us thinking they can make a great team is the same as people who thought Euton and Zollo were UK caliber? top 35 HS players when Zollo and Euton were not even top 200 players out of highschool. Noah and Perry are typical 80th to 100th ranking freshmen that take a couple years to become the portal star type players. and with the team we have they'll be back to the end of the bench unless they make a big jump

This putting our players down sh*t has to stop, people are literally creating a horribly toxic atmosphere around UK treating top 35 players like they are trash

I disagree. Sorry but that's what I see at the moment.

I think if you compare this years roster, right now, to last years roster at the end of the portal season, this years is stronger on paper, and that’s not including any more portal guys.

The 3 incoming freshman are light years ahead of last years 3 incoming freshman on paper. The returning crew is obviously light years ahead bc we had no one. We won’t get the volume of transfers, but our 2 incoming guys this year, on paper, are ranked higher than every transfer but Garrison from last year.

If we talking on paper, then our incoming guys are just as good, if not better. The more interesting part, is our portal class was much better on the court, than they were on paper. Will the same be said for this class…who knows, but let’s hope so.
