UK Georgia Sunday Game

Very frustrating game, as we just couldn't consistently get them out. We took an early lead, gave up a 7 spot to fall down by 5 and then clawed back to even the game at 10. From there, it was all Georgia.

Not sure if this is just a bad weekend in a small park against a team with power, or if this means it will be a long season on the mound....

Started well but got shaky quick.

SEC hitters are different than out of conference mid-week or lower level.

Very frustrating game yesterday. We did manage to get one win on the road against a highly ranked team. Have to avoid sweeps on the road and win home series in the SEC.

One silver lining is we had some young hitters contribute this weekend. Thought Brown and Cameron showed they belong in the lineup and we should get Hindle back this week. We are probably going to need some young pitchers like N. Harris and L. Harris to give us SEC innings as well.

I mean WTH, we only gave up 36 runs in 25 innings or just about 1.5 runs/ inning. So as long as we score 15 runs, we should be fine.
