One thing I love about this team is we are NOT reliant on hitting 3s to win.
Our defense, our transition game, our ability to get to the rim, our mid-range game, our post up game (from Karl and Trey esp) etc make us to where we do not rely on 3s. The only problem will come if we have a game where we settle for 3s, but that has rarely happened this year.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love for Booker (esp!) and others to catch fire from 3-land. If they do, we really do walk to the title.
But this team is not dependent on them.
We have gotten much better at getting good shots against zones (again, the penetration and mid range), so I do not fear a game like we had against WVU and their 1-3-1 w the Wall team.
