That's extremely scary for us going forward. Our bullpen doesn't have the arms as it isI wonder the extent of Pops injury. If the injury is really severe.
No hitting, costly errors will get you beat 99% of the time...Sat starter is weak link.Finished up .071. I can't believe Hill, Reagan, and Johnson were that strong so that is on Kentucky.
Thompson and Logue need to be flopped, but I guess it is too late in the season. That hurt but we've got plenty of time to get back. Logue not particularly sharp.
We get GA & UT at home the next two week...just a long way from being over...my man Z Lewis is up tomorrow! If we don't win this game and lose tomorrow, it is going to be hard to hold the SEC East lead as Florida has Ole Miss at home and then @ Alabama. We then have to go there. That's a lot of pressure.
Don't talk like that. LolThis reminds me of 2007 when we played USC in their crappy old stadium down there. We won Friday night something like 15-2, and then lost both Saturday and Sunday, hope this is not a repeat.
Not necessairly.Thompson and Logue need to be flopped, but I guess it is too late in the season.
Agree...But today wasn't just on Logue...you score runs and field the ball...giving up 5 runs you should be in the game .At this point I feel as though we are just throwing away the Saturday game. That has to change.
Logue is our weak link in the starter chain right now. Hjelle and Lewis have been solid. With no mid week game this week, may see Logue and Thompson reverse roles, at least try it once.At this point I feel as though we are just throwing away the Saturday game. That has to change.
If it's in the coaches minds to do it this will be the best time.Logue is our weak link in the starter chain right now. Hjelle and Lewis have been solid. With no mid week game this week, may see Logue and Thompson reverse roles, at least try it once.

Is USC pitchers best we faced this season?
I don't think so. I think our hitters were wore out from the thumping we gave them the day before. Like trying to play the Allstar game after hitting in the home run derby the day before. Three errors will do you in, also.^^^regular bloggers?^^^

The errors were definitely a back breaker yesterday.I don't think so. I think our hitters were wore out from the thumping we gave them the day before. Like trying to play the Allstar game after hitting in the home run derby the day before. Three errors will do you in, also.
Three unearned runs. The only game this season we had more unearned runs was the Delaware game which we lost 3-4. We have 14 games with unearned runs, and we've lost 4 of them. We are 16-10 with no unearned run. That is one strange stat. Obviously, we would have won the Delaware game if we could just take away the unearned runs. That is true for two of the other games where we had unearned runs and lost. The Louisville game would have been tied but we still lose the USC game even if we could miraculously take away all of the unearned runs. The errors were definitely a back breaker yesterday.
I've seen that done fairly often lately. The pitcher gets sub'd for before the first AB. I guess it is a means to hide who is the DH until game time.Hjelle getting the start as the DH batting in the 4 spot today??? Is this a misprint? or true ...
If what the announcers are saying is true, why isn't Pop at the USC hospital getting an MRI right now instead of standing around in the dugout?

Any further word? I gotta believe that "no news is good news".I wonder the extent of Pops injury. If the injury is really severe.
There's a media opp tomorrow. I'll ask then.@Derek Terry can you give any insight on Pops injury?
