UK at 4 in new AP

I am still not sure Arizona would not prefer to be the 2 out west. I know that means they are with Gonzaga, but Gonzaga hasn't played a good team since 2021 so Arizona could easily beat them.

I agree that it is most likely Gonzaga, Auburn and Arizona with 3 ones as of today. I find it hard to believe any of the 3 lose enough to lose a 1 at this point either...Auburn is the one most likely to lose 2-3 games (including SEC Tourney) but I think if they are 27-4 heading into SEC Tourney and make it to semi-finals at least they should be good for a 1.

I, too, think those teams are rather locked in for 1 seeds due to the remaining schedules. Kansas is likely our biggest competition for the final 1 seed as their schedule is rather easy other than a matchup with Baylor at home. Purdue has a tough road to hoe still, while Duke would have to win out to be in the conversation even.

It feels like the 1 and 2 seeds are pretty well locked up at this point.

Sports writers and other idiots who vote in the AP have an agenda. The coaches though? They're whistling past the graveyard. They know. We are who they want to be.

We are closer to #1 than we are to #5. Think about that for a second. These top 4 teams are head n shoulders above the rest. We are 150 points behind Gonzaga and 190 ahead of Purdue

The Cats biggest problem is an almost certain loss at UT, making at Arkansas a must win for a #1 seed.

Not likely to be a 1 seed with 6 losses unless several others have some more losses as well.

Fair IMO.

Arkansas and Alabama also re-enter the Top 25. SEC now with 6 teams ranked, the most of any conference.

That....isn't what Hi/Lo means for the coaches poll.
Hi/Lo is the highest point they have been ranked in the poll this season and Lo is the lowest they were ranked in that poll at any point of the season.
For example, Arizona's says 3/NR, meaning they were as high as 3 earlier this year but early on were not ranked at all.
