I think y'all should just post a thread on every single SEC game, since much of the time with the big football powers there's more discussion of their game on here than on their own board.

Come on people, this board is huge and we talk about basketball. If you don't like to read comments about other SEC teams and their struggles or positive comments then move the hell along and don't click on the thread that you KNOW you aren't going to like.

FWIW Stony Brook was 86th in the KP, roughly equal to Tennessee. So, about as good as a bad high-major team. Still not an oppt that it's OK to keep in the game for that long if we're as good as we're supposed to be. Glad it's just one game.

AFAICT part of the problem was that Damian Jones got 3 early fouls which limited his minutes. I'm actually of the school of thought that you lose a lot by overreacting to foul trouble. It turned out he finished with three fouls, so effectively we wasted several minutes of his services just to guarantee having him at crunch time.

Yeah, Skal picked up 2 early fouls against Duke the other night and a 3rd foul early in the second half. I know what you mean. If it wasn't for that foul trouble UK could have avoided overtime against Duke…. Wait.

Also, if Stoney Brook has an RPI on par with UT that's nothing to brag about. UT isn't even going to get an NIT invite this year.

I like @Friedas_Boss . He loves college basketball just like we do there is no need in attacking him. Its just unfortunate for Vandy that they play down to competition, which is the case for the majority of the SEC
