Have those other leagues ever been worth watching?

My question is whether the games will be OTA, or whether this is just an attempt to get people like me who don't pay for sports television outside of college football season, to have a paid subscription in the spring.

They are all garbage and that's why they keep folding. This is a last ditch effort to merge and won't make a difference in the end. I'll show some optimism and say it lasts 2 to 3 more seasons.

I have never watched and won't watch. There are people that will watch just because it's football but there are way better tv shows to watch than this for me, not to mention outdoor activities and other hobbies. To each their own and hope those that do watch enjoy it for the 2 to 3 seasons it's around.

There’s definitely a market. Spring time is boring for television unless you’re a massive baseball fan. Will it make as much as CFB and the NFL absolutely not but people will watch.

I think the biggest difference is they aren’t trying to compete with the NFL. Turned into more of a developmental league

The recent XFL was after the the NFL season and they averaged 622k viewers per game.
The recent USFL was after the NFL season and they averaged 715k viewers per game.

This stuff just doesn't work. It's been proven that it doesn't work.

More football sounds good to me plus we just need to call this what it is, a minor league for the NFL, because the best players usually sign with an NFL team.
