Florida can obviously beat us. But I think our A game is better than theirs when it comes together for us. 2nd half vs Duke and Gonzaga, that’s what we need.
Our A game is probably better than almost anyone's this year, but it requires almost everyone to be on from 3 or everyone needs to be on the same page running the offensive sets and that as proven to be hard to come by.

I think it's probably not unfair to say our true A game is elite, but will happen at a lesser frequency than other top teams. Either that, or we need our A game to beat top teams because we do lack guys who can just take over and talent their way to keeping us in the game.

Home court is usually worth about what in college, 3 or 4 points? Line makes sense if you take that into account and think Florida is the slightly better team at this point.

Got no clue. Nobody goes undefeated unless they are good. On the other hand the Cats have proved they can play good as well.

I expect a knuckle nibbles of a game.

To all of you who said Florida would be a 3 or 4 point favorite.

Kentucky -2.5 (fanduel)
I just guessed, like most of us. To be honest the way we've played and the way UF looks, regardless of it being at Rupp, I'm surprised we are a favorite at all.

Also, I'm not a gambler so I'm likely one of the most horrible spread "guessers" on this forum.

@Tampa_cat54 since you had some commentary in another thread.

It should come down to the final few minutes if we can keep KYs 3 point shooting in check some. We have actually played decent at KY the last 7 seasons and are 3-4 in those 7 games.

Took advantage of some bonus bets and got Florida moneyline +140 at Caesars. As usual, hoping for the reverse jinx.

The spread does not mean a dang thing if we don't come ready to play defense and win. The spread is set to entice people to bet. If too much money is bet on one side the spread will change. The spread does NOT guarantee who wins, only to get the most dollars bet.

FL hasn't played a great schedule so no super quality wins.

The line also suggests Vegas respects FL despite that and also isn't high on UK as the line is essential for home court.

I think this is opposite. I think if everything goes right for Florida they are the better team, but I think our floor is higher than theirs.

Yea it does, if you take Florida and the points and the Cats come out flat.

I think you could say that about any team, in any game, at any time.
Wouldn't make it correct just because someone says it about any game. UF has some underclassmen who are talented and still learning and getting better. Like 95% of UK's production is reliant on guys that most would agree have peeked talent wise but are very steady producers (Floor).
