I really don't understand why Pitino schedules such a soft OOC schedule. I know the ACC is good and all, but they literally will not have seen anything remotely close to MSU when they face them. Then they go another month without seeing any decent competition before facing us. It's no wonder Pitino's record against Cal is so terrible when you think about it. He literally does nothing to prepare his team for facing a tough opponent early in the season.

When they come to Rupp at the end of December, this is what their schedule breakdown looks like in terms of opponents faced:

UL Games Vs.
Top 100: 1
100-200: 4 (including a 199)
200-300: 4 (including a 296)
300+: 3
*10 of those 12 are home games

Meanwhile, UK's schedule looks like the following:

They didn't schedule Mich St,that was the ACC-Big 10 Challenge that Pussytino couldn't get out of,he'd dump the UK game if he could,but it's the only game that raises their OOC SOS even when they lose 7 of 8

My UL friends always bring up were in the ACC ( just like big east a few years back) and say how tough the conference is and that's why they don't play a tough OoC. Then you look at what the tops acc teams play in OOC and all you can do is laugh at UL. Oh well, let them eat up some nobodies so they can be be spanked by MSU. Rinse and repeat until they play UK.

This UL team is awful and nothing UL fans can say to defend their roster. When they actually play a team with talent, you will see what this UL team is made of. I'm thinking it's not much. I could be wrong, but i'm betting i'm not. The UL game is something i never worry about anymore. It's a win every year and while looking at their roster for this year, no chance in he11 they have a shot to be our cats. Pick it up, Rick. If buying whores don't work in recruiting, you have to upgrade the whores.
