I hate Louisville, but they have a lot of good coaches on their campus. Just when you think UK is becoming pretty strong in a sport you look up and Louisville seems to be doing better. Women's basketball and baseball are two examples. Mitchell does a pretty solid job, but Walz has 3 Final Fours while Mitchell has none. Cohen put UK on the map the same year they hired McDonnell. Since then, Cohen moved on and UK has in large part struggled while McDonnell has gone to the CWS time and time again.

Agree...The episode with Mitchell a couple years ago with players and coaches leaving is still a baffling saga that Mitchell has had to start over from scratch.Running into UConn in a couple E8s didn't help any, but Walz is good. Stoops seems to be kicking the door down down in fb and Cal is doing OK...LOL! Every other coach on campus is as good or better than u6...Now Mingione is a different story...he is not going anywhere, but if next season is a repeat of this season he needs to go. There can be no more excuses for baseball!!!!
