Tyreke Hill proves his speed in Loserville

Wow. First time on a track since 2014.

I can’t place him, though the name is familiar.

Did he play for U of L or in the SEC?

I just can’t recall where I heard that name, but Inthink it was college FB.

* Played at Coffee Co High in Georgia
* Garden City CC
* Oklahoma State
* Cheefs
* Now with the Fins.
* 7 time Pro Bowler
* One of the best and arguably the most explosive WR in the NFL.

Other than that, I don't know much about him...🤔

We have a player on our team faster
Jordan Anthony

Look him up instead of a guy that kicked his child's arm until it broke
Ouch!

Sounds like a spotty record. I hope he lost all custody!

If Anthony can master the physical nature of football, he will be very special!

Those super fast guys just don't seem as durable as the just fast guys. UGA has a guy that ran a 10.1 in NCAA national championships, but he misses half the year with some nagging injury. Catches 10-12 passes a year.

My theory is those super fast guys have smaller bones and joints, thick joined guys are seldom fast.

Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson beg to differ.

Check out the size of their ankles. I was just starting a career and got to see HW, from the wrong sideline. He was huge, but his his joints were small. Bo stayed hurt all the time, injury ended his career, not a great example when talking about durability.

I don't know but he was only a quarter of a second from breaking the world record.
.4

It's possible he could get even faster I would put his 100 m at probably 10 and a half seconds or less
He was .36 seconds away from the world record, that’s .11 higher than a quarter second. Even if it were .25 seconds, a quarter of a second is a pretty big gap in 60m. He’s blazing fast no doubt, but he isn’t elite level sprinter fast. He would have tied for 4th in the SEC final. It would be around 15th+ in the NCAA (BTW Jordan Anthony just finished 2nd in the NCAA Championship). That’s very fast & incredibly impressive for a football player that hasn’t trained in a while, but he would likely never come close to threatening any sprinting world records. Anthony probably won’t either and he’s quite a bit faster than Hill ever was on the track. (That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s faster than Tyreek on the field).

I wonder why USATF held an event in “loserville” instead of your hometown.

Tyreek Hill 60m 6.70 seconds
Jordan’s Anthony 60m 6.57 seconds

Just sayin’.

I don't think you know Hill's background. He ran a 10.15 100m and at the time broke the all time GHSA record. He was barely recruited because of grades and off the field issues and went JUCO and then to Oklahoma ST for a year. He had abig year but was dismissed for domestic violence. He fished up at West Alabama. The Anthony kid may have been faster in HS, but no HS kid has ever been quite a bit faster than Hill was as a HS kid.

Granted, quite a bit faster is relative. He’s faster. Guess it depends on your definition of quite a bit. In my opinion, .15 seconds in the race we’re talking about (the 60-the race he ran) is quite a bit faster. Just running a tenth faster than Hill’s personal best 60m is quite a bit faster. Also, Georgia isn’t the world. That’s cool that he was the fastest kid in Georgia over a decade ago, though. In the 100 they were closer. Jordan was faster, but I agree I wouldn’t call him “quite a bit” faster in the 100.

Bo played 2 sports and was awesome in both, hard to do and not be durable. A bleed in the hip joint after a hip seperation, causing necrosis isn't a question of durability.If I'm not mistaken he still played in the game he was hurt in. He had to have a hip replacement, but still played pro baseball after.
