Look for UK to be very involved with Baron. If his dad hadn’t been on the Pruitt staff at UT, Baron would’ve likely been apart of the 2020 class. Sick the big dog on him, would make a nice Paschal replacement.
From what I understand ever since they fired his father at UT he’s been a possible transfer. Not sure why it took so long but hope we get him. Would be a great additionWould be a nice addition. Wonder why he hit the portal so late? Start of Spring semester coming fast.
Could have been lining things up before entering. From what I understand ever since they fired his father at UT he’s been a possible transfer. Not sure why it took so long but hope we get him. Would be a great addition
I htink Baron looks like a Jack more than a DE....but who cares.Would his arrival lead to a post-spring ball transfer of Anaele? Who was backing up Rybka? Anyone? TIA.
Could be so. Spring ball is the opportune time to experiment with a different role/assignments than he’s use toI htink Baron looks like a Jack more than a DE....but who cares.
Anyone know the last day to enroll for the spring semester is?
With all due respect K, don't think Baron has the quicks needed for Jack. Looks like hand in the dirt DE to me. Rybka/Anaele will be more than adequate replacement for Paschal, Rybka has a very bright future.I htink Baron looks like a Jack more than a DE....but who cares.
Big Dog:
It's 176 miles to Knoxville, I've got a full bag of Fritos, half a bowl of ramen noodles, its snowy, and I'm wearing sunglasses.

Ok so you guys beat us this past season…. I’ll own it. But your defense was trash all year and Barron looked like one of your better players on that side of the ball. I’ll gladly take him.Just another NPA kid you guys are involved with.
Do you even know what number he wore at UT?Wasn’t he one of the UT players clowning on the UK logo at the end of the game this year?
Well yes he wore #9. It was posted on this board LinkThe strong rumor in Feb of 2000 is that he wanted to wear Blue.
Do you even know what number he wore at UT?
You gotta link/film?
Almost certainly the correct explanation.Could have been lining things up before entering.
Hmmmm. It's almost like he only went there because his dad was getting paid. /s
oh goodness that would never happen 😉It's almost like he only went there because his dad was getting paid. /s

Not true. He was greeted by the McDonald Bag man too, most likely. UT did whatever it took to keep him out of Lexington. It's almost like he only went there because his dad was getting paid. /s

NPA is national playmaker academy in Nashville. It’s where the Wade Twins and Brown train at.I guess it depends on how one defines NPA...
As a TRUE Soph, he was such a slacker for the UT defense
- 4th in sacks behind a RS SR (DT) and 2 RS JRs (LBs)
- 5th in TFLs behind those same 3 guys and True JR LB
- So... he's just the leading producer at the EDGE position (not sure if he's a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 DE)
Yep, a complete non-performer, which begs the question...
If he's a NPA, what does that make the rest of the DL...particular at the EDGE position?
