Twins Pull The Old Switcheroo

If they were both lottery picks, it may have been funny. When one is fringe 1st round, and the other possibly not being drafted, I am not sure that I would risk jerking around execs of teams.

Very strange move. What's the point? To get a headline? To be funny? Why screw around with NBA execs you're looking to impress? What could possibly be the gain? I don't get it.

Whew..... I thought this was going to be one of those stupid baseball posts. But, doesn't seem to smart by the twins

If that happened, then there is no defending that.

Andrew may have just lost his slot potential in the 1st round.

I hope that it wasn't true.

I strongly suspect that the Hornets were quite aware that he was taken his brother's place. There would have been no reason to do otherwise.

Wow, either they did not think that through or their agent is an idiot. So was Andrew trying to help Aaron's stock out I wonder?

Didn't this come out a couple of days ago? Aaron was scheduled to workout for the Hornets, instead worked out for the Lakers and Andrew filled in. No in a deceiving way but just to take the slot. I may be off base but I highly doubt they would try to mess with the NBA.

This sounds more believable than anything else. I would highly doubt they would try to intentionally mess with the minds of NBA executives that they are trying to impress for a draft position and risk everything. And, surely their agent wouldn't encourage something this stupid or he should be fired.

Nobody would be that stupid. It had to be a situation where both teams were looking at both players and it was just a scheduling thing.

I did work with an identical twin who was arrested and put in jail for a week
and his brother took a week vacation and worked in his place and we all
showed him what to do and they never got caught so anything is possible but that would be really stupid for them to do that.

Surely the teams knew what they were doing, but nothing surprises me anymore after this past year:popcorn:

Andrew showed up in Aaron's place for workout with the Charlotte Hornets. No word on how it turned out. Aaron worked out for the Lakers instead.
Fools. NBA execs are professionals to the highest degree that met their success long ago and decided to buy a hobby for their entertainment. Juvenile behavior will not cut it.
