Just turned on the Sacramento/Jazz game and he got burnt for a layup and taken out of the game. It's hard to get a good read on his long-term potential..for me anyway.

He was on that team that won 38 straight games. One of our best players. Started.

What do you remember about him as a person? Anything at all other than that he's from Indiana? I don't dislike him at all, just seemed like it went fast with few memories of him.

OP has a point. Dude is kinda an afterthought. Doubt he has much of an NBA career, too. He'll stick around and make some money, though.

Trey lyles had a long neck which disrupted the fast paste offense. Furthermore, he plays in Utah, quite possibly the worst state you can live in unless your Mormon. Nobody wants to play for the Jazz lol. You never see any big time free agents have Utah on their list. It's mainly don't call me I'll call you like in Philadelphia lol. The only reason guys go there is nobody else wanted them or they were drafted there, unfortunately

The Jazz probably isn't a great fit for his career. They have one of the better frontcourts in the NBA. Have to think his talents, as a power forward, would be better suited on a different NBA team.

Lyles was instrumental to our success last year. A 6'10 guy that handled the SF position - could switch on defense and seemed to hit every open shot he had. He was willing to accept a lesser role for the team to be great. I have nothing but respect for Lyles and everyone on last year's team. I am glad he is part of BBN and I am confident he will have a long NBA career.

A bit uncalled for, don't you think? Your post can easily be misconstrued as a hack at Lyles. Maybe his post isn't the problem as much as yours is.

I specifically said in the thread that I had no issues with him. It's not my fault that so many dorks with their little IMG's and detective kits come running everytime someone starts a thread. This is the 1st and last thread I've ever started on the basketball site. Not interested in going back and forth with little kids.

The thread is talking about his time at UK. So your smart-allec reply is off base. You guys with your silly little IMG replies are what's pathetic.

So salty your thread didn't turn out how u expected.

Next time, word your post better. Read your OP and you'll see why my post isn't " off-base"

+ That vine is lulzy as shit. Loosen up ova there, gramps.

I liked him. I remember him getting a big steal to keep us from losing to Ole Miss. I remember him hitting big free throws to keep us alive at A&M.

He was kind of quiet, I guess.

Him being quiet is probably why I barely remember him. Take care. I'll let the thread detectives bury this one.

Wow the OP really has no idea has created the most douche bag post of the day. Bravo. He was a very good player who stuck it to both IU and UL and played for us and without him there is no way we go 38-1 much less even close to that. Kid is a real talent but could of used a 2nd year in college but you can't fault him as he was a lotto pick and is going to make a ton of money . Though as someone else said who wants to play in polygamy land.

Hes damn good, I easily remember him...I'm guessing your one of those that only watches the ball when you watch games. Hilarious too at the one guys reply...he's not even halfway through his rookie season and he's determined he won't have a career...lulz

Must not be a big fan or watch many games if you barely remember Trey Lyles. He played on last season's team, so he was playing for us a mere 9 months ago. This is one of the dumbest and most pointless posts I've ever seen on this board and that's saying something.

I haven't heard someone be called a dork in Atleast 15 years. As for the pissing match let it go it's not worth it. Tone can't be shown on a message board so if you haven't been around for a while things can get misconstrued and posters get bent out of shape. Best advice I can give, is never take anything on here serious

Honestly, you seem more like a louisville fan with every post. That's saying something because I thought you were a Tard fan from the first time I read one of your posts.

He played out of position all year during his time at UK. He will also be a better pro player than college player

I remember he was an outstanding passer. A good rebounder and I remember him being deadly on the mid range jump shot. I remember him celebrating with the others on the bench when the back ups were doing well.

If you can't remember much about him, thats got something to do with your memory. I can't fathom how a true UK fan wouldnt take everything in ...especially a 38-0 start of the season and savor ever second... every shot, every defensive possession.

I agree. Utah needs someone, anyone that can hit an outside shot. They should have picked Booker. Lyles would actually fit better with Pheonix as well.
