We are down to it with injuries. Carr does not seem to be near 100% healthy. Just something to talk about. Go Cats.
If that's the starting five we'll have to zone them in my opinion which I don't mind.Brea

AA
Carr

This is what it has to be. Carr has been ineffective since the injury. While Almonor has been awesome, gotta give AA the nod.My guess is
Oweh
Williams
AA
Brea
Perry
Noah
Carr
Chandler
Garrison

I would not start him on the road but he does need quite a few minutes and a green light when open!We are down to it with injuries. Carr does not seem to be near 100% healthy. Just something to talk about. Go Cats.
Williams is a tremendous asset brining the ball up the court. Teams don’t have bigs that can do what he does passing and initiate the offense like that.He should, he’s earned it with his play recently. Perry is too careless with the ball and makes some very terrible decisions, his turnovers lead to fast break points for our opponent. Noah played pg since 8th grade and can bring the ball up the floor, I trust him way more than Perry or Williams to initiate the offense.
We may take a couple extra lumps these next two weeks but I’d rather have them healthy as possible for the SECT and a March run.I absolutely hate that Robinson and Butler are out, but I love to see how our team faces adversity. It could be something like that later, you never know. Let’s see what we dan do.
Williams is a turnover waiting to happen in the open court.Williams is a tremendous asset brining the ball up the court. Teams don’t have bigs that can do what he does passing and initiate the offense like that.
He did it the second game too and it worked fine.Williams is a turnover waiting to happen in the open court.
It worked against Tenn on the road the first time because it was a surprise.
Teams are not only ready for it now, they are hoping for it.
The second game against Tenn?He did it the second game too and it worked fine.
I would like to see Perry take at least ten (10) shots tonight to find his stroke. Noah, too, for that matter.Perry will start
It’s not like putting Perrry in for Carr or Almonor makes the group any better defensively. I’ve gone back and forth like crazy on who starts. Honestly though, everyone (minus Chandler) except OO and KB will play somewhere between 18-24 mins. So I’m not sure it really matters who starts. I don’t see a ton of difference. Agreed on the zone too, except Texas shoots it pretty well. I like the defensive philosophy last couple games. Man, squared up, keep ball in front of you and switch almost everything. Keeps it super simple and leaves you in a good rebounding spot. Empty side PnR gives that problems (Vols attacked that), but just have to recognize and tag from furthest away when you can. This group isn’t going to ever be good defensively, but that approach has served them well lately. If that's the starting five we'll have to zone them in my opinion which I don't mind.
I like Williams starting the offense. There will usually be 4 shooters in the set and always a mismatch somewhere. The second game against Tenn?
When he had as many turnovers as rebounds?
You don't want Oweh to start???I would just start our 5 seniors and sub Perry in early by his self. Let him work with 4 experienced guys for a bit to make sure he gets settled in. Then go from there.
i am curious why you think that with that lineupIf that's the starting five we'll have to zone them in my opinion which I don't mind.
Oops. 4 senior and Oweh (the experienced guys). Dang it. I hate it when I overlook something....especially on RR.You don't want Oweh to start???
Just messing with you big blue brother. It's easy to do. I'll be fine with 1 point wins while Butler and JRob are out, but I'm not sure if my heart will be 😂Oops. 4 senior and Oweh (the experienced guys). Dang it. I hate it when I overlook something....especially on RR.
No problem. I wouldn't have even responded if I thought you were being....well, like several posters here. But who would have thought that we would not be able to start 5 seniors in a game this year? We're young. lolJust messing with you big blue brother. It's easy to do. I'll be fine with 1 point wins while Butler and JRob are out, but I'm not sure if my heart will be 😂
AA is a little out of position there imo. Not sure he can guard a 3 and Brea def can’t guard a 1.Brea

10 open shots yes. But with his size and athleticism it’s not easy for him to get off very many shots.I would like to see Perry take at least ten (10) shots tonight to find his stroke. Noah, too, for that matter.
My solid answer is heck also.I might’ve already replied, but my solid answer is heck. No let him play a small roll off the bench. He plays a lot We are screwed.
