Trent Noah and Colin Chandler talks about summer practice

I think not. He played hard all year and did the dirty work down low. With the right minutes, he will be a 8/5/1 if not higher and make his teammates look better. BBN loves a guy who doesn't always look flashy, but gets the job done.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think Noah gets a ton of minutes this season considering all the talent we have. He played more than expected last season due to injuries. We are loaded and on paper Noah looks to be the 11th or 12th man. Love the kid’s game, but we are loaded. Heck, Moreno was a Burger Boy and he may not see much time.

Collin needs to hit the weight room this summer. He has got to add some strength.
He is like Utah winery stronger than he looks guy. He is solid. I hope he is hitting the weights like Noah. He got his feet under him late in the year and did not allow the bumps to bother him like early in the year. I think both of these sophomores are going to be very good for a deep team. I expect Noah (if he stays on the weights) to look much bigger in the upper arms and chest by fall. He legs are there already. Very solid base. Mo beating up on him in pick up games will do nothing but motivate that guy.

Yea I thought chandler looked pretty solid and ready to go to be honest. Just needs to get that mental right.

He came from good upbringing. When we did the thing at the horse park last summer when I got my pic with him and we got to talk, he put is hand on my shoulder, looked me right in the eye and we had maybe a 30 to 50 second conversation. He was engaged in the conversation and not just giving the common answers.

Sounds like this group already has good chemistry.
From an On3 article:
“The energy, the goofiness off the court. I’ve been seeing that a lot, that’s the biggest difference,” Brandon Garrison said of the difference between last year’s group and this one.

“We got a lot of characters, a lot of young guys who — they’re just excited to be here and it shows,” Otega Oweh added. “That’s always fun, because that’s gonna show in the games and practice. You always just want to have fun too, because it’s basketball — it’s a kid’s sport. You want to try and keep the innocence.”

I hate, hate, the intrusive questions about Travis Perry's decision and "when did you find out" and "how did you know". Somebody above says, smart (young man), to which I'd add, "stupid questions".

Show some respect and give the players some room.

Regarding Trent Noah, I like his facility with the various languages; English, Basketball, and Press Conference (PC). Like everyone, I'd hope he becomes a legend at UK and we get to watch it. Being a multi position defensive player and a solid three point shooter will go a long way--hah hah MoDioubate style.

I'd also like to see an on-court personality develop this year.

And I hear from the questions that Mo Dioubate may be on the questioner's minds. We might have a defense this year.

"Don't get distracted from our team goals" is an excellent message from the mature player, Collin Chandler. His discussion of "a mental change" towards his game during last year may be what we all saw and appreciated as he stepped up to fill an injury riddled team.

He may need to work on his goofiness, though?

CC's report that Mo Dioubate is "a very good shooter" is good info from Collin and yet another reason for optimism for the upcoming season .

If a reporter asks a question that is answered "everything" they maybe need to work on the focus of their article.
