Well shit. He wasn’t going to see much run this year so I kind of get it, but I wish he’d stay.

Chris Beard will go after him. He still spoke highly of Perry recently and really wanted him out of HS.

Hate it. But I get it. Wish he would see Senior Day at Rupp. What a legacy it could have been.
Can always transfer back but I say replace him with a long athlete that can get a couple put back dunks and grab some rebounds

The days of guys waiting their turn ( or redshirting like some suggested) are over. The portal is made to be recruited over. These guys are way too competitive to sit on the bench and watch waiting for their turn…which may never come.

Can’t say that I’m shocked . The opinions on this will be interesting considering what some were saying about Reed leaving after one year.

It’s smart though, he’s getting little PT this year outside major injuries again. He can go develop with PT at a mid major and transfer back later on when he is more ready to play.
If he goes to Murray or Evansville fine. Don't like him going to an SEC School.
Would not surprise me to see him transfer back to Kentucky in couple years
Doubt he was pushed out, more likely told and he knows his minutes would be dwindled this season and he may be able to make a little more money than we were willing to pay for a 10-12th man.
He’s not going to a big time school unless he wants to sit there. Makes sense if he ends up at a lower level program
Sucks but I think we all get it to a certain extent. We all hoped he's be Jr/Sr impact guy but that is as rare as they come now days.
We also have to remember there is always a chance these guys transfer back at some point. Could be his Junior or Senior year
