Is it more important to recruit the portal, then H&S seniors?
I believe it's a lot harder to transfer after the first transfer. So if you sign freshman they might be gone the very next year. You sign a transfer, the chances for him to graduate goes up significantly!
Our class looks very poor, just have to wonder if this was stoops plan after last year portal "free agency"

The portal is a mix. Players who thought they should play early, but did not, and may still have 4-5 star potential; Small school players who have shown they were underrated; players beaten out and looking for a new home; stars who want to finish at another school for any number or reasons; and, the rest. Assessing talent and potential is HUGE.

The portal for a team like KY is vital. Freshman usually sit while the portal is usually plug and play.
