Toughest remaining schedule

Every team they have left is currently ranked, they play the #1 team twice, and the average AP ranking of their remaining opponents is 9.7. No one else is even close.

Auburn probably has the second hardest remaining schedule, given they play Alabama twice, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and TaM. So 3 top 10 matchups and 2 top 20.

TaM has 4 games left against ranked teams (1, 3, 5, and 22).
Ole Miss also has the same 4 games left against ranked teams (1, 3, 5, and 22).
LSU has 5 ranked teams left to play (3, 5, 8, 15, and 22).
Vandy also has 5 games against ranked opponents but fewer on the high end (5, 8, 15, 19, and 21). To be fair, they did just lose to #1 in their last game so that's a brutal stretch.
Oklahoma has 5 ranked matchups as well but even more on the lower end (3, 15, 19, 21, 22).
Arkansas has 4 ranked matchups left (1, 8, 21, and 22).

By comparison 4 of our remaining games are against unranked teams, though we do have to play #1 and #2. No one else in the SEC plays more than 3 ranked teams

Texas has the easiest remaining schedule in the SEC, with their only ranked matchups being against us (15) and Miss State (22).

Duke's is 109 and that is close enough for the media.

Yesterday, took a look at Duke's schedule and season results so far. To say it's laughably soft would be an understatement. That has to be the least tested 'good' team I can remember seeing.
Exactly! They haven't played a ranked at the time team since their Auburn win at home 12/4. They have no more games scheduled against teams ranked as of today. If they don't win out, they do not deserve a #1 seed.

Playing number one twice and they’re your in state rival… Game Day will be at UNC Duke won’t they?
You are correct.
And that they would choose a top 5 Duke vs a bad (NIT at best) UNC over #1 vs #2 (+ in-state bitter rivals) demonstrates the BIAS towards those 2 schools and the ACC.

I read somewhere that UK had the 9th toughest schedule left in the country, and the 8th toughest in the SEC.
But like Number 2 or 3 in the country. WILD how damn strong the conference is. It's crazy!

We're liable to get 12 or 13 teams in the tourney. That doesn't happen very often.

I truly think it will bite them when it comes NCAAT time to be be battle tested like some other teams are. They pretty much wilted against us and Clemson. Can't recall their other loss if they have one.
