Toppin … is better this year, but we need more

Toppin has improved, but has been too inconsistent … too much up and down, too many mental lapses. We need more from him at the four in order for the Cats to elevate to another level. The pre-season accolades and NBA draft predictions have not materialized as of yet …. We need to see a more assertive Jacob Toppin. We need him more in the 16 pts and 8 rbs a game average.

Toppin has to take better advantage of his athletic ability. With his length and leaping, like to see more attacking the rim and finishing thru contact.

The two players who left so that Toppin could get more minutes for the Cats are getting a lot of minutes, and good production, on a good Providence team and a mid-level PAC12 team at Washington.
