What we stand to gain on in thew new era…

I think its unreported and HIGHLY powerful the way Cal talked about the “Superbowl” effect of playing Kentucky. If you keep saying we are everybody’s Superbowl and bemoaning how well visitors play in Rupp- you are manifesting that very same thing for everybody listening Cats or visitors. I believe what we saw today from Pope and BBN we will see RUPP ARENA be feared date on visitors schedules rather than a stage to come in and shoot 60% and get prime time coverage beating UK at Rupp.
2. OFFICIATING
Think we get a totally different whistle in the Pope era. I can remember getting a good whistle in the Pitino/Newton/ John Claugherty days- and I will tell you I think we got one of the worst whistles in all of sports under Cal. I’d happily split the difference between the two.
3. Player "Injuries"
Hang nail hold outs are a thing of the past. Full stop.
